    The TURBOCAM Machine Maintenance Technician I is primarily responsible for the diagnosis and repair of our CNC Lathes and Milling machines. The Technician’s ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems to the failing component, and understand complex controls with their related problems is crucial to Turbocam’s day-to-day operations.

    General Company Responsibilities

    • Support the Company Mission.

    • Comply with established safety practices and commit to operational excellence.

    Position Specific Responsibilities

    • Maintain, diagnose and repair Turbocam’s machinery.

    • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems to the failing component.

    • Understand complex controls.

    • Perform other duties as necessary.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

    • Two year technical degree in electronics, machining or related subjects. Related experience accepted.

    • Ability to evaluate and repair machinery.

    • Electrical and Mechanical knowledge with proven troubleshooting capabilities.

    • Basic understanding of MS Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel.

    • Must be able to lift 50 pounds in a safe manner, and request assistance when   warranted.

    • Must be able to climb in and out of small places; crawl around machinery.

    • Must have range of motion sufficient to permit climbing stairs and ladders, walking, standing, stooping and crouching for extended periods of time while performing duties.

    The TURBOCAM Machine Operator sets up, utilizes and operates assigned lathe and/or mill machines and supports machine procedures for the prototyping and production of machined parts.

    General Company Responsibilities

    • Support the Company Mission.

    Position Specific Responsibilities

    • Performs set-up and operation of assigned lathe or mill machine/s.

    • Performs preventative maintenance and diagnostics on lathe and/or mill machines as needed and required.

    • Reports all deviations in proper machine performance to employee’s direct supervisor, other shop supervisor, and/or Machine Maintenance personnel (when warranted).

    • Advises and consults with direct supervisor, and/or shop supervisor as applicable, for tools and tooling needed to complete projects.

    • Maintains fixtures and set-ups for use in specified projects as assigned by direct supervisor in conjunction with other shop supervisor when applicable.

    • Supports and maintains overall shop efficiency by keeping work areas clean and safe.

    • Inspects and documents all operations per TURBOCAM procedures as stated in the Quality Manual as well as per specifications of the product engineer, project manager, and direct supervisor.

    • Able to interpret blueprints and use various calibrated instruments to check dimensions called out on inspection reports.

    • Able to advance through training matrix.

    • Perform other duties as necessary.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

    • Experience in a manufacturing/production environment.

    • Experience running CNC lathes and mills.

    • Good math skills.

    • Knowledge of measuring equipment.

    • Attention to detail; ability to follow instructions carefully.

    • Good interpersonal, communication and organization skills.

    • Basic understanding of MS Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel desired.

    • Must be self-motivated and willing to seek out additional work when time is available.

    • Requires occasional lifting and carrying of 25-50 lbs. or more and standing for extended periods of time.

    • Moderate physical activity requiring agility and manual dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending as well as lifting or moving objects.

    • Must be able to climb in and out of small places; crawl around machinery.

    The TURBOCAM Maintenance Electrician II is responsible for upkeep and proper functioning of all facility electrical systems and assists with the diagnosis and repair of our CNC Lathes and CNC Milling machines. The ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems is crucial to day-to-day operations.

    Position Specific Responsibilities

    • Install, maintain and repair all facility electrical systems, machine electrical systems and equipment to NEC standards.
    • Comply with NFPA 70E and OSHA standards.
    • Perform electrical maintenance tasks including, but not limited to, testing of systems and emergency generators.
    • Diagnose, Maintain and repair machinery.
    • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems to the failed component.
    • Install, operate and repair controls with knowledge of PLC’s (Programmable Logic Controller).
    • Create schematics in electrical power and distribution, lighting, and branch chart wiring.
    • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance with use of testing equipment such as Flir infrared and amp/voltage reading equipment.
    • Devise parts list or list of materials for assigned projects.
    • Act as a member on the on call team.
    • Perform other duties as necessary.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Two-year technical degree in electronics, electrical, electro-mechanical technologies or a related field.
    • 8+ years’ experience installing, maintaining and repairing electrical equipment and systems to NEC standards.
    • Master Electrician License.
    • Ability to evaluate and repair machinery.
    • Electrical and Mechanical knowledge with demonstrated troubleshooting capabilities.
    • Must have knowledge of NFPA 70E & OSHA standards.
    • Intermediate level in MS Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel desired. Learn Epicor maintenance software.
